What is necessary to receive Holy Communion worthily? To receive Holy Communion worthily it is necessary: 1. To be free from mortal sin. 2. To be fasting in the right way. S. We can receive Holy Communion without going to confession as long as we remain free from mortal sin. 75. How often should frequent communicants ordinarily go to confession?
