I THANK THEE, O MY GOD

I thank Thee, O my God and Father!
I thank Thee for all the blessings
Thou hast given me today!

NIGHT PRAYER

 O my God, I thank Thee for all the graces that I have received from Thee during this day. I am sorry for all the sins I have committed and  promise with Thy help not to sin again. Bless my parents and friends. Have mercy on the Poor Souls in Purgatory, and grant them eternal rest. Amen.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be, and O Guardian Angel.

ACT OF CONTRITION 1

O MY GOD,  I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because I dread the loss of Heaven and the pains of Hell; but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who art all-good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life. Amen.

ACT OF CONTRITION 2

O my God, I am truly sorry for all my sins,
because I have offended Thee, my God Who
art all good and deserving of all my love.

Forgive me, my God, and help me to never
sin again.

Have mercy on poor sinners, especially those
who wilt die this night, and those who have no
one else to pray for them. Amen.

PRAYER FOR MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Dearest Jesus, bless my mother and my father;
my brothers and sisters, and all my friends. Amen.

EVENING SUPPLICATION

In Thy name, O God,
I go to sleep this night.

My dear Mother Mary,
help me to love God more and more,
and keep me from every sin.

I GO TO SLEEP

Dear Child Jesus,
Dear Child as small as I!
In my own way
I want to say
A little, sweet good-bye.

Dear Child Jesus,
The day with Thee
Is through for me.
I pray Thee keep
Me safe in sleep,
And that I dream of Thee.

Dear Child Jesus,
How sweet the dream would be!
If in the night
The lovely sight
Of Thee appeared to me.
