Heart of Jesus, Son of the Eternal Father. "Simon Peter answered and said: Thou art Christ the Son of the living God." Matt. 16, 16. 2. Heart of Jesus formed by the Holy Ghost in the womb of the Virgin Mother. "But while he thought on these things behold the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in his sleep, saying: Joseph, son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost." Matt. 1, 20. 3. Heart of Jesus substantially united to the word of God. "And the Word was made flesh and dwelt amongst us (and we saw His glory the glory as it were of the only begotten of the Father) full of grace and truth." John 1, 14. 4.
