O Lord Jesus Christ, Thou wert pleased
to gladden the holy Virgin Catherine
by the wonderful apparition of Thine Immaculate Mother.
Grant that we may follow the example of St. Catherine
in honoring Thy most holy Mother with undying devotion,
and obtain the joy of eternal life.

Virgin Mother of God, Mary Immaculate, I unite myself to thee
under thy title of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.
Keep me close to thee every moment of my life,
 so that like thee I may live and act
according to the example of thy Son.
Amen.
