Feast of Saint Joseph the Worker May 1 The general Feast of St. Joseph is March 19; however, in 1955, Pope Pius XII inserted this special memorial into the liturgical calendar in order to recognize the importance of human dignity in regards to labor, the Catholic ideals of work, and the example of St. Joseph.
