POLITICAL CORRECTNESS AND THE CHURCH

Billy O'Reilly had it exactly right when he was perturbed on his FOX show, July 2, that before the US Supreme Court ruling on "same-sex marriage" he could not find any US bishop to speak out on the subject, forcefully or not.
The silence was deafening!

Francis, Bishop of Rome, has a thousand things to say about almost everything that bears little, if anything at all on salvation, but rather, on topics and issues that are oh so politically correct, the latest being the left's draconian environmental policy, most of which is bogus science used as a battering ram for world domination through the policy of fear. He has and knows he has, practicing perverts in the Holy See and its environs, but all he can manage to offer is "Who am I to judge?", taking out of context the Scriptural warning. Yet, he has no objections to judging the very hearts of Traditionalists and anyone with whom he might disagree. He even thinks that gun manufacturers ought to be excommunicated, when the arms to defend oneself and one's country are part of the natural law.
One of the sins or crimes against the natural law is sodomy. St. Peter Damian had no problem judging the evil of this crime against nature, a depravity that destroys the soul:
"It is not sinners, but the wicked who should despair; it is not the magnitude of one’s crime, but contempt of God that dashes one’s hopes."
"Without fail it [the vice of sodomy] brings death to the body and destruction to the soul. It pollutes the flesh, extinguishes the light of the mind, expels the Holy Spirit from the temple of the human heart, and gives entrance to the devil, the stimulator of lust. It leads to error, totally removes truth from the mind. ... It opens up Hell and closes the Gates of Paradise. ... It is this vice that violates temperance, slays modesty, strangles chastity, and slaughters virginity. ... It defiles all things, sullies all things, pollutes all things. ... This vice excludes a man from the assembled choir of the Church. ... it separates the soul from God to associate it with demons. This utterly diseased queen of Sodom renders him who obeys the laws of her tyranny infamous to men and odious to God. ..."
And yet, over a hundred pages on the environment, taken out of the play book of the UN, of all entities, and silence about the referendum in Ireland and the US Court in America!
That silence from Francis silenced the already weakened by subservience to the politically-correct US bishops. This has emboldened the enemy, who directs all this contempt for God that brings odium down on any country daring to defy God with such disregard for normalcy and aid and comfort to degeneracy under the rubric of rights, which makes a mockery of rights themselves.
Bill O'Reilly was astounded and well he should have been.
It is my opinion that the very root of this degradation and sinful silence, originates with Pope John XXIII who did two reprehensible deeds:
He suppressed the Leonine Prayers after Mass, orations that included the assistance of St. Michael the Archangel to defeat Satan and his minions from wreaking more evil, and he refused Our Lady's request for the Consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart. But then, any Pope who had a problem with those precious 3 Hail Marys after Mass, really has a problem! By these foul works he brought down on the Church and the world much punishment, deservedly so.
We and it have been in free fall ever since, and that old Demon Run has been in operation - running with the ball of consent all the way down the court of apostasy and utter ruin to souls and society alike!
