Column #2
THE BANISHMENT OF THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY VACATION IN MARYLAND

Muslim parents in a Maryland school district demanded equal vacation time for their Islamic holy days, citing Easter and Christmas.

The eggheads, rather than give into their demands which would pave the way for no school time at all since every religion would follow suit, including Satanists, I am sure, decided to banish Christmas.

This is so blind and irrational words almost fail.

#1 Christmas is a national holiday. Any Islamic holy day does not fall under this rubric, just as St. Joseph's Day and St. Patrick's Day, the Feast of the Assumption, for Catholics, for instance do not, because these, too, are not national or state holidays. Catholics do not demand time off for these as they are particular to Catholicism and not the culture at large, just like the Muslim religious feasts.

#2 Let the Muslim citizens petition for their own national holiday if they want to. Nothing is stopping them, they prefer the fiat method driven by fear and loathing to offend the Muslim, but not the Christian who is not even permitted to say the name of Christ in school in most districts.

#3. Ergo the proper and sane, common sense response should have been that Christmas is a national holiday, etc., as in the above points.

There are none so blind as those who have worked diligently to erase all Christian influence in the schools, while permitting Muslim prayer in some school districts. The irony abounds, but even the Muslim parents are blind apparently. A lot of people celebrate Christmas who do not care much about Christ, they simply like the day off to spend with family and enjoy other festivities of a secular nature. This is the only reason the powers that be have retained Christmas. Soon they will rename this, too, as they have begun to do with Columbus.

Eventually Islam will gain the upper hand and then the hoax of religious freedom will be revealed for what it is, a facade.
