Feast of St. Quirinus of Neuss, Roman Martyr


This is a nightmare from which those forced to endure it are in perpetual jeopardy from the overbearing, oppressive and seemingly absolute power of the state conjoined with an even more arrogant medical establishment. This is primarily the story of parental rights, patient rights, religious freedom and simple human decency -  all abrogated without any justification under any law - neither positive nor natural. But it is also a lesson for those of us who are wont to let our guard down just a bit. The rise of Leviathan is not by accident. Power lust, the engine of the Leviathan state by nature seeks ever more power, it cannot be satiated, only contained by a vigilant citizenry ever alert to the menace.

If someone told you this twisted, terrifying tale of persecution and entrapment one would scarcely dare to believe it possible, even given the state of the State that considers its citizens hostages to its will - and actual ENEMIES IF THEY RESIST! But it is too sadly true. It is every good parent's worst nightmare and then some! It is also our nightmare if we have any compassion at all for Justina Pelletier and her family who heroically fight on to regain her custody and in all likelihood her very life which hangs by a thread. In the composite below Justina is pictured on the left as she was when being treated for a rare mitochrondrial illness that attacks the energy production of the body's cells. She was being successfully treated at Tufts Medical Center. So much so she was ice skating. On the right is Justina, confined to a wheel chair after transferring to Boston Children's, alone and with her parents. These pictures were taken at Boston Children's.

One of her physicians had relocated to Boston Children's. Justina came down with the flu and was having stomach problems so her team at Tufts suggested she go to Boston Children's as her regular physician was now there. The family complied in all innocence, taking her to the emergency room. Continued below.


We must pause here momentarily for a little background which has only been revealed by Mr. Pelletier just this past weekend. He appeared on the Mike Huckabee show on FOX. No one in authority, including the judge who awarded his daughter to the state permanently has told them what the accusations are, the family's supposed crime. Mr. Pelletier is pretty certain that Boston Children's, which has an experimental program in somatic illnesses was in need of a subject like Justina. When they arrived at the emergency room the hospital SAW A READY SUBJECT - THE FAMILY WAS NOT FROM MASSACHUSETTS. So instead of treating her for the illness Tufts diagnosed her as having and treating her as Tufts had been doing, successfully, they insisted she had this somatic illness of the mind and altered her treatment.

Her parents did not accept this sudden diagnosis and said they wanted to take her back to Tufts. The hospital seized control of Justina, called in the Child Protective services and refused her parents their daughter as if they were abusive towards her. Now Massachusetts law states that when there is a conflict between diagnoses the parents have the right to choose which doctor and treatment available. In addition the medical insurance of the family recognizes mitochrondria disorders and pays for its treatment. The hospital and the State violated the law, virtually kidnapping Justina. Armed state Troopers were put on guard when the family was permitted limited visitation. The State even got a judge to silence Mr. Pelletier from speaking publicly. When he defied them he was further punished by having fewer visitations.

She has been there over a year now. Justina is a Catholic and the hospital will not allow her priest to see her, hear her Confession and bring her Communion! The most hardened criminal in the penal system in the State has these rights by law. But not Justina, who is ill and has committed no crime, nor been convicted of one. She was not even allowed to see her own mother on Mothers' Day.

You ought to be informed that Mr. Pelletier has learned that almost fifty such patients there have died and three times that number of children awarded custody of the State have mysteriously disappeared in the system and cannot be located!

This is an outrage and a stern warning to us all, for this can happen to us. Our children can be taken away without any known cause if those with power decide to. There seems to be no justification whatsoever. In fact under Boston Children's "care" Justina is deteriorating. He legs are swollen, her stomach area appears diseased and she is not receiving physical care commensurate with her former treatment at Tufts.

No one seems to be listening to the patient who is a teenager and not an infant who cannot speak! I want to hear from Justina herself, don't you?

This is an urgent appeal - an action alert!

PLEASE GO TO FREE JUSTINA NOW AND SIGN THE PETITION TO HAVE HER RELEASED TO HER PARENTS SO THEY CAN TAKE HER BACK TO TUFTS.

PLEASE PRAY FOR HER AND HER FAMILY THAT THEY WILL PERSEVERE UNDER THIS PERSECUTION!
