PRAYER TO THE SACRED HEART

Offering to the Sacred Heart

Sacred Heart of Jesus,
I give myself to Thee.

I give Thee my body, my soul
and all that I do or think or say.
I want my entire life to be an offering to Thee,
to make Thee known and loved.

I also offer to Thee our family.
Help us to obey Thee and love Thee always.
Keep us from all danger of soul and body.
Bless our life together with Thy peace and love.

We hope for the forgiveness of our sins
through Thy mercy,
and for the graces we need to save our souls.
Through Holy Communion and prayer,
keep us close to Thy Sacred Heart.

Sacred Heart of Jesus,
we believe in thy love for us.
Help us to love Thee more and more.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus,
have mercy on us.

Sweet Heart of Jesus,
I place all my trust in Thee.

Jesus, reign over us as our King
in the Holy Sacrament of the Altar,
and in our hearts.
