This
page is dedicated to the Priestly
Fraternity of St. Peter,
its priests and seminarians, who are devotedto the Holy Roman Mass of
Immemorial Custom as well as rest of the Sacraments in the Trdaitional
Roman rite.
CATHOLIC TRADITION is dedicated to the restoration
of the
Traditional
Latin
(Roman) Mass in every diocese of the world. To that purpose we have
placed
ourselves under the patronage of Our Lady, and three special Saints who
loved the Holy Mass, the Immaculata, and the Sacred Heart of Jesus: St.
Maximilian Kolbe, Priest and Martyr, St. Gertrude the Great, for her
unwilingness
to compromise, and St. Rita
of Cascia, Saint of
the Impossible and pierced with one of Christ's seventy-two thorns.
The
Church in America, indeed throughout the world has been pierced by
thorns,
those of dissent, disobedience, and the dissolution of the greatest
liturgy
ever given by Heaven.
It
is our studied observation that only the constant and strong support of
Catholic Tradition will revive the dying Church in America, and that
the
traditional priestly orders, traditional religious orders, fostered by
traditional Catholic families who still pray the Rosary and mostly
homeschool,
will be the fountain from which will spring the rebirth of the Church.
We exist merely to exist, confident that our hope and prayers will bear
fruit. We are not unrealistic, fool-hardy pie-in-the-sky optimists, but
neither are we forlorn and defeatist. We are here to re-establish once
again our glorious heritage in evidence that we intend to flourish. Our
boast is not in ourselves or our abilities, our boast is in Christ, the
Head of His Mystical Body, the Holy Catholic Church, which we
have been privileged to enter
at our Baptism, as infants or as converts. It is also our
privilege
to serve Catholics on the world wide web.
"Some
think that the glory of a priest should be made up entirely of outward
activity. Overlooking almost entirely those virtues by which man is
made
perfect and which We call passive, they say that all his activity
and study would contribute to the growth and exercise of the active
virtues. It is really amazing how much falsehood and ruin this doctrine
contains."
