Since Aug. 8, 1983 this Rosa Mystica statue has been weeping in a home in Maasmechelen, Belgium. Friends of the author saw it weep twice in the spring of 1984: "To see Our Lady cry is soul-shaking. to know WHY She cries is unbearable. We all came away, after 45 minutes resolved to help Her console Her Son, even more. You see, there was a bust of Christ, crowned with thorns, beneath the statue of Our Lady-----and He was crying too. We'll never be the same!"
