This is a basilica dedicated to the Apostle Martyr, St. Andrew, as the name in Italian indicates. Bernini and his son executed the work with the help of an assistant. The right leg [facing the left] of the Angel is cracked---I airbrushed it out to match the rest of the statue which is in perfect condition.
