ARTICLE 56:
EASIER TO BE PROTESTANT THAN A CATHOLIC

The hot July and August weather reminded us how much easier it is to be a faithful Protestant than a faithful Catholic. The Protestant is not obligated to join the priest on 52 Sundays each year, in offering the Sacrifice of the Altar to God the Father, as Protestant churches have neither a Christ-instituted Sacrifice nor priests to offer up this "Clean Oblation." You need not go to church before breakfast to receive our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, as He is not Sacramentally in Protestant churches. Catholic churches are open every day in the year be the temperature 100 above or 20 below zero; whereas "Close for the Summer," like "Keep off the Grass," signs say to Protestants, "Stay in bed, or go to your golf links. God does not want public honor to be rendered to Him during hot weather." If we subjects of the Dictatorship of Christ could only get our religion through a broadcasting station, as Protestants can get all their churches have to offer, we would not have to get out of the arms of Morpheus early every single Sunday morning, and on days of obligations as well. We came across this sign recently: "The Rev. will preach here next Sunday morning; after which the church will be closed for necessary repairs."
